Where can I park cheaply in Salzburg?

I've parked in the Mönchsberg Garage but I can't remember what I paid. This web site says 14 Euro a day.

Upon arrival to the Hotel Goldener Hirsch, you are encouraged to leave your car and luggage with our valet, who organizes the transport of your bags to your guest room and parks your car in the garage. You can take your car out as often as you like. The valet parking costs are EUR 35. - per day. You can also park your car by yourself in the “Neutor” garage near by the hotel. The daily rate for this garage is EUR 14,00 and a ticket for a week is EUR 65,00. Please let us know if you need further information or assistance for you arrival at the Hotel Goldener Hirsch in Salzburg.

If you can afford the GH, you can afford the parking fee.
OTOH, you can save a good deal of money if you were to stay at

which has free parking and is a 2 moin walk from the bus that will get you downtown in 12 min.
