Venice - another trip report (deja vu all over again)

We timed our visit in the third week of June to avoid snow, and still found some on the hike to Kleine Sheidegg and other places, although it is also true that Muerren's meadows were full of spring flowers and grass.
I think you pretty well have to visit the mountains in the summer, if snow is an issue.
I have been twice in early June and twice in early September and had good weather all times. There was still snow on the mountain tops even in September, but not on the hiking paths.
Hi halemu,
I would vote for late September or early October.

April is definitely too early (and the town is shut down then). October can be a bit late, as swandav said go in early October, better in September.
Amazing views from the new HD Roundshot 360° Webcam in Mürren (positioned above the Edelweiss Hotel)
