Wheelchair accessible oncerts in Rome, Florence and Venice
Hi, My daughter uses a manual wheelchair at all times. We'd like to see a church concert, or other concert, while we are in Rome, Florence and Venice this fall. Are any of you familiar with any that would be wheelchair accessible? I could get her up one or 2 steps if necessary. Thank you. Joan

If you look at the various concert halls for the Parco Della Musica in Rome, you can see how many seats are available for disabled patrons

and if you look here, you can see upcoming events

Here are some venues in Florence that will be having musical events. You could contact the individual places via e-mail and ask about their accessibility

Something that it occurs to me to add (which you may have already been aware of) is that, for Venice, knowning that the concert venue is accessible will not tell you whether you can actually reach the venue from your hotelwithout encountering some bridges with many steep stairs. In Florence and Rome you can take a taxi to almost anywhere. (In Rome, there are some alleys of the historic center where taxis cannot pass, but hopefully that won't be a problem for where you choose to go). But in Venice, water taxis or vaporetti may not be a solution.
