What train will we take out of Brugge, Belgium to Liege?
Does anyone know what train leaves out of Brugge? We would like to take the Thalys train from Paris-Brugge, spend the day and then leave in the early afternoon back to Liege where we are staying. How long of a train ride is it from Brugge to Liege? Should we book the tickets ahead of time from Brugge to Liege (traveling in July) ? Thanks for any feedback!

I suggest the Belgian Railways site is more apposite.
http://www.b-rail.be/main/E/
It's about 2 hours. Booking shouldn't be required. Trains leave hourly.

Dont know the answer to your question, but if you haven't been to belgium before keep in mind that it's a two-language nation so station/town names can be in Dutch and/or French. Generally French is spoken in the east and dutch (or Flemish) in the west. So for example, your train ticket may have a town name written in one language, but a the train station the signs may be in the other. We got confused once and thought we were on the wrong train. Just ask for help if this happens. Enjoy your trip!!
