What to wear to the theater in London

Be sure to take a light jacket or sweater, even in summer. The temperature inside the theater varies throughout the evening.
I prefer to wear my Sunday best or equivalent. It makes the experience more special. That's just me, of course. You will see the whole spectrum.

Unless it is a world premiere or similar with royals attending - anything is fine - as long as clean and tidy.
We almost always shower and change before heading out for the evening - even if just dinner - and will do more business casual than jeans - but many don't.
