Hi - this is our first trip as a family to France. We land in Marseille second week of April. As part of a longer trip we are hoping to spend about a week in the Southern part of France. We enjoy hiking, water sports, art, eating, and experiencing the culture of an area. We're trying to keep the costs reasonable. We'd like to play at the beach for a couple of days, and other than that, we're pretty open.
I'm curious about Sentier Tirepoil hiking trail (by Cap d'Antibes) - would you recommend this with children who enjoy hiking? or too dangerous?
We're happy to rent a car. I'm looking for ideas about where to stay along the coast, and from there, what towns/cities/hiking trails to explore before we head up to Paris.
What to see/do in South France with ~7 days & 2 elementary aged kids
