What to do in four nights in Switzerland

Jump to last reply

We are doing a 7 night river cruise starting in Basel and ending in Amsterdam departing November 6. We will be staying in Amsterdam at the end of the cruise for 4 nights. I have not purchased my air yet and was looking for some suggestions. We could fly into Basel for three or four nights pre cruise and just do some day trips or fly into another Swiss city a few days early and make our way to Basel the night before we board the cruise. I would like to take one of the scenic mountain view trains but, honestly, I'm looking for the easy way out and asking help from this board. My mind has seized up looking at the different options. My pre cruise plan has as many holes as a piece of Swiss cheese. I know November weather will play a part in our travel decision. Thanks for your help.
