Hello me and my husband will be in Corfu in the midle of july. We choosed to stay in Liapades because we love quiet areas. Could you suggest to me and my husband some activities to do in the close area and of course around the Corfu island? Just few activities like 3-4 "must do" as we have only 10 days for our holidays.

Hello Helena, since i had been there the right name is Liapades not Liapades

So if you are in the right place Liapades next to Paleokastritsa my recommendation is:

1) Visit Monastery in Paleokastritsa. They have a small museum in there. The view from there is beautiful. Women must have their shoulders and legs covered to enter there.

2) Aqualand in Corfu Greece, one of the most amazing and adventurous water parks in Europe. Is not to far about 15 minutes with car. The entrance cost 27 Euros (2016) but it worth it.

3) Old fortress of corfu. You have to go in the center of Corfu 25 km away. When you find the fortress go to the top in the cross in this point you must have a camera the view of old city is amazing.

4) Rent a boat from Paleokastritsa you will love it. Is so wild nature there, the motor boat will let you taste it in the limits. We rented a boat from eboathire.com for 60 euro. They are professional and they have the cheapest prices.
