What time to get to the Anne Frank House?
Hi all,
I'll be arriving at Amsterdam on Wednesday 25th Febuary at appox. 2pm, would there be enough time to go to the Anne Frank hour after that? Is it busy in Feb (all year round?) or should I go to there first thing on Thursday morning? I've checked online for tickets but their all sold out.
Also, so far I've got planned the Van Gogh museum, Anne Frank house, a canal cruise and the Heineken experience. I leave Amsterdam on Friday at appox 2pm, is there anything I can do Friday morning? Any recommendations?
Any help would be great, thanks!

Arriving in Amsterdam or at Schiphol at 2 pm? DO you need to check in and get rid of luggage?
If the timed tickets are sold out for your dates it will be busy there. Aim for either late in the day or early in the morning.
Buy your ticket for the van Gogh online too, to skip any queues there. Skip the Heineken experience. Maybe visit the Stedelijk museum if the Rijksmuseum doesn't appeal, or just explore the canals and city. See the flower market, enjoy the Beguinehof.
How are you leaving Amsterdam? If it is a flight at 2 then you need to be at the airport by no later than 12 for an inter Europe flight and by 11 for an intercontinental flight. Even those times are cutting it fine.

Hetismij2 - arriving at Schiphol at 2pm, and yes I need to check in and drop off luggage.
I was thinking of buying all the other tickets for museums etc online. Any reason you don't recommend the Heineken experience? Thanks for your recommendations!
I'll be travelling back to the UK so looks like I'll have to leave earlier than expected.
And thanks cafegoodness. Will definitely see if the hotel sells tickets. Although I'm staying in Zuid WTC so it's a bit far from central.
