We are from Canada. In what month(s) do the hotels get filled up fast. We are planning on going to this 2 places in Europe in the middle of September.I hope some one can help us out. please be kinda of when answering.

giovanna

Giovanna, do it in June! I know, there will be more crowds, and it may cost a little bit more, but probably not as both months are in season. But a honeymoon is a chance to relax after the wedding and to get to know each other more. Two months later defeats the purpose, IMHO. And June in Paris and Italy is a beautiful month. Go right after your wedding; I don't think you'll regret it.

Giovanna, I am pretty sure English is your second language, so some of your questions need additional translating for those of us providing answers. 1) It seems many of your earlier questions involved taking your honeymoon trip to Italy. Has that all now changed? That is not a big deal if it has, but just curious. 2) While traditionally honeymoons are taken right after the wedding, sometimes there is a gap because of arrangements, other unavoidable commitments, etc. I'm assuming you want to maximise your $$ for your trip, and don't mind that you may not take a honeymoon directly after the wedding. OK. now an answer to what I think was your question: Assuming you are going to Paris, May and June are delightful months. May is just before the summer tourists start and airfares may go up starting in June. Also, some hotels charge less in May than in summer but that isn't necessarily the case in Paris. If you plan to travel to Paris in May 2002, you might want to book your hotel in October to be certain of getting a lovely room in a well-regarded hotel in your price range. (You already know how to use this website to check for those recommendations). You should also pick a price target for your air tickets, say $500RT and start looking for that fare on the dates you want to fly. When you find it, take it and book your flights (This is your honeymoon. Sure someone may have a big sale between the time you book your flight and the time you leave, but 1) you'll want to reserve seats TOGETHER and 2) you can probably get a flight that doesn't leave Paris for home at 6AM in the morning...) Good luck with your planning!
