What is Your Most Beautiful Place?
Hi All
OK - I dont get around all that much, but last week we spent 3 days in Wengen, Switzerland. Went up the mountain, rode the cable cars, and did all the touristy things. Even being terrified of heights, I came away believing that that was the most beautiful place I have ever been in.
It got me to wondering enough to ask, what do you consider the most beautiful place you have ever seen? I will take notes and probably go!

There are so many beautiful places, it's truly hard to narrow down to the most beautiful place...
Not in Europe, Emerald Bay in Lake Tahoe, CA....absolutely beautiful!
I agree with the Amalfi Coast.
Fields full of sunflowers in Umbria.
It's funny, I have seen so many beautiful places that just about took my breath away, that I'm having problems thinking of any right now, except for the 3 above....

Agree that the area west of Innsbruck to Bern is the most beautiful area I have ever seen, and I have been to a lot of places. #2 would be Cesky Krumlov in the Czech Republic. #3 is the isle of Capri. #4 is Tuscany.

The view from Glacier Point in Yosemite on a clear day in May when the falls are full.
Or,just as nice, sitting next to a crackling fire at night at a riverside unit in Housekeeping Camp. Looking up at and hearing the thunder of Yosemite Falls.

Volpaia in Tuscany, Gordes in Provence, the lavender fields in Provence, the Empordà and the Pla de la Calma in Catalonia, some villages of Cotswolds (England), the lands of Soria in Spain, the Seine in Paris and some streets in Prague.
