Many of the calling cards that have been mentioned on this board as being good deals are good from Western Europe, not Eastern. What is the best (cheapest) way to call the US from Poland, Czech Republic and Lithuania? Thanks in advance for the help.

Micro trip report - a few days in Scotland

julies - at+t lists all your eastern european destinations on their website as accessible; they even have a pdf file you can download and carry in your pocket with access codes. works with an at+t credit card, pre-paid phone card (walmart, etc) and major credit cards. good luck. www.att.com/traveler
we bought a 250 min pre-paid card that will work out to about 7.5 cents a min, except from pay phones, where there is a 9 min surcharge. hope this info helps

Is this an AT&T phone card you bought? Or, what exactly is it? The price sounds great. Also, what exactly is a 9 minute surcharge?
