Hi Anantbedi,

I don't think you need a pass for Italy. Just purchase your tickets at the train station. I wish you had more days to visit Venice, Florence and Rome.

Have a great trip!

In Venice, walk, use the water bus (Vaporetto), or water taxi if you are rich; and in Rome, the tram or bus. Do "google" these so you can determine what is going in your directions.

Florence is more walkable. Husband and I took a bus up to Fiesole some years ago. We bought the bus ticket at the tabac shop near the train station.

You can find specific bus and tram lines online or once you reach the specific cities, your hotel folks can help.

Rome is pretty walkable too, as long as your hotel is central. And you see so much as you walk, stumble across the odd Roman ruin, and so on.

Where is your last stop in Switzerland? Do you go from there directly to Venice?
