What form of transportation in England, England to Amsterdam

Jump to last reply

I will be visiting my daughter in Wiesbaden Germany in mid May during which my brother is flying into Heathrow traveling to Hull and perhaps Scotland or Ireland for 1 week and has asked me to join him from Germany. My return flight to the US is scheduled to depart out of Amsterdam so I would have to get from Germany to England (I could join them in London or Manchester area to take train to Hull) but then have to get back for flight in Amsterdam.
1. What are best options for travel to and from England?
2. When in England, what are best options for travel London to Hull
3. What would be best to see in England - our only goal is to visit family in Hull and Yorkshire area at this point. We love geographical beauty but are open to famous sites as well.
