What do you think of my itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Rome (bus to Siena)
Days 2-3-4: Siena (2 fulls days in Siena + 1 day trip to San Gimigniano)
Days 5-6: Pienza (hike to Montepulciano And Montichiello)
Days 7-8-9: Florence (2 full days in Florence + 1 day trip to Lucca)
Days 10-11-12: Venice
Early flight to Barcelona
Days 13-14-15-16 Barcelona
Day 17: Departure

Any advice on how I can make this better? I'm mostly interested in seeing the area south of Siena (the Val D'Orcea). Should I base myself in Siena for the whole time, or should I split my time between Siena, Pienza, and Florence as in my current plan.
By the way I don't drive, so a car is out of question, but I know that the are reachable by bus.
