What do the French Eat For Their Main Christmas Meal?

Jump to last reply

I'm spending Christmas in France this year and am going to cook the main Christmas meal myself rather than go to a restaurant. I would like to know what the French people like to eat on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Do they have a traditional meal like the English turkey etc? Are there any particular foods that are popular in the stores around Christmas? In Britain we have Christmas puddings and mince pies. How would I go about creating a French Christmas meal.

Thanks Buzzy
