What clothing/shoes to take to London and Paris first of May

Jump to last reply

We are going to London and then on to Paris the first part of May.6 thu15 I know to check the weather before we leave for more details. I will be traveling, A lot for work leading up to the trip and need to start planning what to take now. The average high is 66 and low 48 in London at that time. I feel kind of stuck between seasons .Iam a female and 35 . I am planning on wearing a lot of black. Should I take boots or more summer shoes? We are planning on doing a lot of walking tours. My husband wears kakis or darker jeans and Merril ( hiking type but low like a tennis shoe) shoes in the states. Or does he need a leather walkng shoe? I know the minute we open our mouth we will be tagged tourists. We want to be comfortable but look nice for whatever we might find to explore that day.
