Hello, i will be spending two weeks in santorini by myself in september. I am interested in hearing what are some good things for me to do while I am there. it is my 5th time back to santorini, so i want to start seeing and doing some things "off the beaten track". are there any restaurants, small beaches, good runs/hikes, activities to do while I am there.
In the past i have only spent 4 days on santorini each time, just enough time for typical perissa beach day, dinner in oia, winery day, catamaran day.
I am looking forward to trying some new things. Akrotiri for example, the international music festival, and museum are among the things on my list.
Let me know if you have any restaurant or activity suggestions to fill my days with.
What are some of your favorites in santorini?

Since you are going to be on Santorini for a good length of time why not visit the town of Pyrgos. It is located on an elevated plain and still has city walls at its acropolis. There is a maginificent view of the islend from up there.
Also spend time in one of the villages. You won't find many tourists there and you wll see how people used to live.
Here are some images of the village of Finikea just about a kilometer from Oia. Completely different world there. I will also include some images of Greek doors and windows, much of it taken in Finikia. It makes you wonder where all the people have gone.
