Kristina, I visited Lithuania a year ago. But it was a very brief, work-related visit to Vilnius, and I had no time to really see or feel the country (except a quick look to that gorgeous strip of sand dunes that poke to the sea in the south western corner (the name always escapes me unless I check it). I didn´t even see the Hill of Crosses or Trakai.
But I plan to come back, hopefully next summer. I plan to drive through Estonia and Latvia (have been to both of them quite a few times), and concentrate on Lithuania. I have very good brochures, maps, and all kinds of info, thanks to the travel fare in Helsinki last January. Lithuania was very well presented there, and I got tons of useful things.
