Weekend trip to Stockholm for a student

Jump to last reply

My 25 year old daughter is studying abroad in Norway and is interested in a quick (last minute, unplanned) trip to Stockholm in the next week or two. She and a friend would arrive on a Thursday night or Friday morning and then travel back on a Sunday, so they will have only have 2 full days in Stockholm.

As this is a last minute unplanned trip, I’m hoping for some advice from trusty forum to steer her to things she can quickly research so she can make her plans.

With only 2 days, where (what areas) should she try to concentrate her visit?

What are some absolute must see’s that she can research?

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good hostel that is in walking distance or has good transportation available to the areas they should concentrate their short visit on?

All suggestions/recommendations are greatly appreciated. This will help her to quickly do some further research and make her plan
