Hi there. This is a fairly esoteric question, but we're trying to decide on a getaway this weekend from Luxembourg (where we're living) between Troyes and Antwerp. We're big fans of both regions generally (love Beaune and Bruges, etc.), but haven't visited either city and don't really know too much about them. Anybody have a view which would be a nicer weekend getaway for some relaxation, really good eating, and a bit of sightseeing? Any specific hotel or restaurant recommendations would also be appreciated.
Thanks, Ken

Antwerp! Go to the new MAS museum, Rubenshuis, go shopping. There's an exposition about Mme Gres in the fashion museum, that is interesting.
Don't know your budget but the Hilton is right in the middle of the old town, and reasonably priced.

Thanks very much, Tulip -- we followed your advice and did Antwerp (stayed at the Hilton too), and it was great. Great little city (and amazing shopping during les soldes). Best, Ken
