We are staying in Adare. One day is going to Narine for a day for genealogy and would like to do day trips from Adare. What would we not want to miss? Driving and also upgraded GPS for Ireland.

Narine ???
There are lots of options for longish day trips from Adare. anywhere from Galway to Cork, Dingle to Cashel/Cahir and the vast majority of it well signposted so you don't need a GPS.
As Tony says, there are plenty of options for day trips from Adare, for example the Rock of Cashel, Killarney, Cork, Limerick and the Burren. If you drive to Tarbert, you could take a ferry to Killimer. From there you can easily drive to Kilrush and visit the Vandeleur Walled Gardens.
We are back. drove for a week and loved having a GPS to know how to anticipate roundabouts and narrow single bridges. So glad we had it especially driving on the opposite side of the road.
