I have a friend who wants to get married in Cyprus next year. Can anyone think of a good venue, which also has a kid's club or something like that. They have a 6 year old who will have to be taken off their hands to give them some peace.
Somewhere not too expensive but not too down market either?

Sicily Trip Report May 2013 - LONG and DETAILED

We need to know which country they are from please.
Scotland
Popular venue, at least for Cypriots, is Aphrodite Hills, outside Paphos. It's perfect for weddings, the hotel has a kids club plus chapels for wedding services. Four Seasons in Limassol is also fabulous along with Golden Bay in Larnaca (although the refinery in the distance can be offputting for some). Another good venue in the mountains is Paradisos Hills Hotel in Lysos in Paphos district. Poolside receptions are quite common. All depends on numbers of guests, budget, time of year (Monte Caputo in Limassol has indoor facilites for events) etc.
Thanks for that. Views on Elysium or the Annabelle?
Don't know the Elysium, Annabelle is a beautiful hotel, right in Kato Paphos so does not have the open space of Aphrodite Hills but does have lovely gardens, swimming pool. Next door is the Almyra, in the same hotel group. The area around the hotel was being pedestrianised when I was there last year so should be finished now.
Thanks so much.
