Website for inexpensive B&B or room in France?

Will be traveling around France; Honfleur, Tours, Aries. Staying a few nights in each location. Looking for inexpensive places to stay. Will have a car so we do not need to be in town. Double room for 2. Hoping to have breakfast included. Any suggested places or websites? Thank you

Try a search on Tripadvisor. It depends on what you call inexpensive, but you should be able to get a room in a B&B for around 50-60 euros including breakfast.

Gites de France is very reliable. I tend to use them when looking for rooms outside towns.

Hi cb620,
Rick Steve's recommendations include budget accommodations. Look up his recommendations on Trip Advisor and also on this Forum. By cross referencing the recommendations you will have a better chance of finding hotels in your budget. That's how we did it for our three month trip and it worked out great. Not a bad one in the bunch.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I will try the websites. Anyone have a budget ($50) favorite?

This is where we stayed in Honfleur a few years ago:

Our B&B (Barberi-Lecesne, Françoise tel: 02 31 89 15 43) in Honfleur was the one room garden apartment of a 19th century private house.

Try looking for it in Gites-de-France for current pricing.

I often use www.logis.fr which isn't rooms or B&Bs, but has a wide range of French hotels on it, some of which are that cheap in more rural areas.
