Hello. I am considering a trip to Copenhagen and Stockholm in mid-September. I have been to Denmark before, but it was June and I was spoiled with long days and wonderful sunny and mild weather. Is there a significant difference in weather and length of day in September for these two Scandinavian cities? Can anyone speak from personal experience from traveling there this time of year?
Thanks!

Yes, the days are getting short quickly by mid-September. Don't expect any midnight sun, but the days are still long enough to do enough: they will be comparable to New York or so. Only later, from November, do the days become incredibly short. One nice thing in both cities when there are dark evenings is that many restaurants and pubs put out oil-lamps out front: very inviting and friendly. Enjoy your trip!
The autumn equinox is in mid Sept, so you'll have roughly equal daylight and darkness anywhere on earth for those few days.
