Weather in Paris late Sept., early Oct.?

We will be leaving for Paris on September 26th. According to to the various guide books and web sites, it would appear that the weather could be anyway from 40 - 80 degrees F. It also seems as if we might experience sunshine, balmy-ness, rain or even periods of volcanic activity! Could any of you narrow this down a bit? Thanks.

Volcanic activity? Wow, there'll be a lot of excitement in Paris this September.

Okay, so I made up the part about volcanic activity. Perhaps it was tornados followed by swarms of locusts? Anyway, we just want to know what to expect. Thanks again.

Aside from the volcanic activity, there's no way to narrow down the weather prediction. Innumberable trips to Paris at that time of year:
several sunny, 60's days
several rainy, 60's days
several rainy, 40's days
several cloudy, 50's days
several cloudy, 60's days
an occasional sunny, 70's day

Must have been indoors when the volcanic activity took place.

<<It also seems as if we might experience sunshine, balmy-ness, rain or even periods of volcanic activity>>

Except for volcanic activity, that's the way it is in Paris. You can also throw in cold, windy, and pretty much every other weather possibility except at that time, I would say, snow, sleet, hail, and locusts. So take clothing in layers that you can put on or take off, umbrellas, and you'll be all set. For more Paris information e-mail me – [email protected]
