Weather in Ireland today

I'm leaving for Ireland today and would like to know about today's weather in the area between Dublin and Kilkenny. Also, what is the best route from the airport in Dublin to Kilkenny?

Something about the tone of this post got to me -- not a suggestion of "please". So I checked on a number of other questions posted by this person, and found the same tone. And nary a "thank you" for helpful responses.

Huh!

Sorry I didn't realize I had to say please and thank you in this forum. I've just been trying to make my inquiries as short as possible. Please forgive me, and thank you to Steve James and Lucielou for their responses.
I will be forever grateful to you. Thank you.

It's been raining every day for as long as I can remember. So for months! But we get some good spells too and it's fairly warm.

Bring a brolly and a light raincoat, and some Tshirts.

Not sure on the best route from Dublin Airport to Kilkenny - it's a tricky one. Maybe try the route planner on the AA website.

Please and thank you is especially necessary on this forum where people take time out of their personal time to help others.

My thoughts exactly! Not that there's ever a time when they aren't appropriate and appreciated! It's the little things in life, after all!

"Please and thank you." Yes they are always appreciated--but are they always necessary?? No. Maybe the posters who "take time out of their personal time to help others" should be a little more helpful and a little less critical. You asked a simple question--a simple answer was all you were expecting.
And of course it's raining.

Please note that people whose native language is not English are often not aware of nyances. One word here, another there. Asking for socially correct way of speech from people who donīt use English on everyday bases is a bit much.

For example I donīt even notice if there is a please or a thank you in a sentence, I just notice if I understand it all.

It has been pretty crappy here for the past 6 weeks and no sign of getting better. It drizzles in the daytime and is overcast and cool but not unbrearable for a visit only if you live here everyday!
