Hi,
I am going to Barcelona in September and am wondering what the weather will be like. Will i bea able to walk around in Shorts and shirt or will I need a jacket.

I suspect that this is true for many of the days around (either) equinox, in most parts of Australia.

Northern Spain is very nearly identical in latitude to Tasmania (except that it's degrees north, instead of south).

We were in Barcelona in late September and it was hot and often very humid, we were glad out hotel had AC.

Yes, you may need both two, but the biggest chances are that it will be hot enough not to need a jacket.
