Wow,close to an hour.
Here's a point of reference if you have a map handy.
Last fall I decided to walk from my hotel near the Pantheon to the Vatican; my optimistic desk clerk told me it would take about 20 minutes. No way!
I am a brisk, experienced walker and it took me 40 minutes just to reach
the edge of St Peter's; the entrance to the Vat. Museums was at least an additional 10 minute walk from St Peter's.

It'll take way more than an hour.
Walking in Rome is such an experience. By the time I stopped and saw a couple of churches and looked at some of those incredible little fountains down side streets, it would take me 4 hours to walk from the Termini to Navona. No matter what you do, you just keeping stumbling onto incredible things to see.

Good evening, Jessica
From the Trevi to the Vatican might take
an hour if you walk slow, however the
closest metro stop if the Ottaviano
which is about 10 mins north of the
Pza. S. Pietro. If the walk is too
great, take a taxi which will drop you
off just in front of the square...

Hi Jessica. Along the lines of what David wrote, how long it takes depends on how often you get distracted along the way. :~)
If you walk at a good pace, and don't stop for photos, people-watching, an interesting-looking church, or gelato, I'd say an hour at the most.
