Hi
I am looking for a nice seaside/beach/cliff village to spend some relaxing 4 days in Wales or Scotland and I would appreciate some suggestions.
As I will be spending some time already in London, I would like these 4 days to be far away from City life.
Thanks.
Cheers

Trip Ideas
I would suggest Tenby in Pembrokeshire(which is in south Wales). I have spent many a lovely time here. It is picturesque beyond and well placed to travel out and about if that's what you want.
Also consider Aberdovey on the west coast- not too many Fodorites know about this. Smaller than Tenby but opens up a different stretch of coastline for exploration. Be aware that the main visitors in summer are from the Midlands so unless you understand Brum you may be somewhat at a loss!
Port Patrick, St Andrews, Elie, Crail, St Monans, (or anywhere else in the East Neuk of Fife)Eyemouth, North Berwick, anywhere on the Moray Coast, Stonehaven, Scourie, Tongue, and just about anywhere in the Hebrides.
If I were doing it, and access was not an issue, then it would be Port Charlotte on Islay.
If access was an issue, then Elie in in the East Neuk
I would hands down go to Northern Wales. We spent 4 days in a really cool cottage near Conway, Wales. The town was called Llandullas and it was very near many castles. The cottage was on a hillside overlooking the Irish Sea.
The cottage was called Bryn Her cottage in Llandullas.
