VRBO Neighborhood

Jump to last reply

My ticket is purchased and I'm headed to Spain at the end of September. My first stop is Madrid, for several nights (I haven't quite fine-tuned my itinerary yet). I would prefer to stay in a rental as opposed to a hotel. I used VRBO in Rome and found a great apartment, in a really convenient and nice area. Any areas to avoid, as far as safety and noise are concerned? Any one area stand out over another in terms of location to public transportation, restaurants, etc? Thanks again in advance.
