Trip Report Vodafone + Ipad in Italy-Excellent experience.

Jump to last reply

Just back to USA from a trip to Sardinia and Sicily.
Bought a Vodafone Sim card on our first day in Cagliari, Sardinia: 5GB for 25 Euro. Access limited to 2 months.
Best money we spent. No contract. No problems.
With no planned itinerary a regular charger and a car charger, we used the Ipad for GPS, reservations, etc. for 3 weeks and used only 1.5 GB.
We were as connected as we wanted or needed to be.
Anyone with an Ipad with a Sim slot can do this as all Ipads are "unlocked."
Great trip made so much easier with the technology available.
