We are going for a short trip in April, traveling on EU passports (from England). Will we need to get visas? Thanks

You should check for current information, but I think you will find that for the type of visit you are describing, you can simply pick up a visa sticker at the airport upon your arrival. For U.K. passport holders, the cost is 10 GBP. At Istanbul airport, this was very easy and there is a window right before passport control where you can purchase the visa (cash, exact change). Again, if you arriving at some other place or by some other means, you'll need to check it out.
Here is a website with some info:

Yes you will need a Visa - you get it when you arrive - you need a good quality £10 note, some do not give change so if you want 2 have 2 £10 notes ready
