Well, Vilnius is a great city to have a good, cheap(comparing with other EU countries) rest. If U have wish you may stay in 5stars hotel. Why should you choose Vilnius? 1 fabulous old town. 2 wonderful nature, in it and everywhere around Vilnius(Forests, lakes, rivers, and seaside in Palanga or Nida). 3Huge variaty of entertaiment(shopping malls, clubs, sport complexes, casinos etc...) 4As I already mentioned its cheap, but you are getting for it highest level service. Vilnius is a beautiful city with many attractions. The old town is a Unesco World Heritage site. There are many beautiful churches, including that of St. Ona which Napolean supposedly coveted.
