VILLA SCAM PORTUGAL

Please be aware of two websites resortearth.com and algarveweddingsandevents.com. I have had dealings with an Elaine Campbell from Resort Earth and would encourage all to be very cautious. I paid the full amount for a villa rental to discover that the booking did not exist and the owner did not know anything about the booking. Myself and a group of friends have lost 850 euro and were put in an extremely stressful situation trying to find new accommodation a few days before going away for 11 people. I would urge all not to transfer money directly into anyones bank account, even if they seem to have good reason for asking you to do so. Essentially all I had was an email with a villa description and pics. Getting money back in situations like this is also extremely difficult. Please all BE AWARE!! I do not want her to do this to anyone else, especially when people save up their hard earned cash to go on holiday.
