Viking River cruises Budapest

Jump to last reply

My DH and 10 others are booked for an 8 day cruise out of Budapest to Passau. We are scheduled to depart October 11, 2015. We have heard that the port of Budapest is closed due to low water levels. Is that correct? Has anyone been bused to an alternative city to board the cruise ships? Is there still an opportunity to explore Budapest? We were scheduled to have two days in Budapest. As we will arrive in Budapest late in the day on the first day, we are hoping that we will be bused to the ship "Prestige" late on the second day.

Have not heard from Viking or our travel agent about schedule changes.
