Venice - where to stay

Jump to last reply

I am wondering where is best to stay for 3d2nighter.

I'll be arriving venezia Santa Lucia at around 10 am and leaving for the same stn at 745 am.

I have three options
1) st elena -quiet and is near to other scenic spots like the islands
2) somewhere really central - near ca d oro station
3) some where5 mins walk fr Santa lucia

I thought st elena is cool cause of the location near lido and still and out of the crowd in the island. But I'm worried that it's gonna be PITA dragging medium sized kuggages with wheels to n fro station.

Please provide insights
