I had originally planned to use volareweb to book a plane ticket from Venice to Paris in June 2005, but now since they have ceased to sell tickets, I now have to find an alternative. I would prefer to fly versus by train to save travel time and can only find ryanair that goes that route (I've also checked whichbudget.com), but it is from Treviso Airport (20 miles north of Venice) to Beauvais (1 hour+ bus ride west of Paris). Has anyone flown this route? Any other recommendations? Thanks!

Pups - I haven't flown that route, but I've used Treviso airport several times.
RyanAir have a connecting bus service from Venice to Treviso airport, journey time about 1 hour.
I think Beauvais is rather more distant from Paris.
If the price is right and time isn't a factor, I'd go for it.
Steve
We flew Paris to Venice a few years back I believe it was through a Delta Partner since we flew the whole trip on FF miles.
Try Air France and Alitalia - I would think they would have flights between the 2 cities.
OK - I guess I need coffee to get all my thoughts together, but promise this is my final posting.
Now that I jogged my memory - I believe for this leg of our trip we bought a round trip ticket on Air France and threw away the return ticket (it was much cheaper than buying a one way). You can play around with return dates(if you are not going to use the ticket anyway) to get the lowest price on the ticket.
Hope this has been of some help.
Have a wonderful trip - there is nothing like the sight of Venice from the water for the first time. Was breathtaking! I can;t wait to return nect year.
Hi pups,
www.mobissimo.com is offering one way on BMI for $150.
We've flown this route with AF, as well, between Marco Polo Airport and Charles de Gualle.
