Venice to Dubrovnik Ferry

We are planning to go from Venice to Dubrovnik. the ferry we found appears to be commercial traffic only. Are there passenger ferries we could consider?

Perhaps you'll need to take two ferries— Venice to Rovinj, and then Rovinj to Dubrovnik.

There are no ferries from Venezia (or Rovinj) to Dubrovnik.
Possible options are:
train from Venezia to Trieste, bus to Rijeka, then Jadrolinija's coastal ferry to Dubrovnik;
train from Venezia to Ancona, overnight ferry to Split by Blue Line or Jadrolinija, then bus to Dubrovnik;
train from Venezia to Bari then Jadrolinija ferry to Dubrovnik.
