Venice Hotel Question--Dei Dogi or Sant' Angelo?

Was wondering if anyone could give me some thoughts on these 2 hotels. I have already booked the Dei Dogi for 4 nights in September, got a really good price from Orbitz--about $350 USD, including taxes.
I just found a rate for the Palazzo Sant'Angelo, which I've read good things about, of $341 USD NOT including taxes. Any advice would be much appreciated. I've been agonizing about the decision, and have read good things about both hotels. Thanks.

Sorry, I don't really understand. Don't you need to prepay for the booking you did for the Dei Dogi? Is it possible for you to change to another hotel? I am not familiar with Orbitz's rules.

Yes, I did prepay for the Dei Dogi through Orbitz, but I can cancel--I believe the cancellation fee is only $25.

Is the rate at the other hotel much higher if you book directly with the hotel itself?

The rate I got for the Sant Angelo is directly from the hotel. They have their "regular rates" listed on their site, but when you go to book, they also have something called "Best rate on the web" which is somewhat lower than their standard rate. This rate is lower than other rates for this hotel I've seen on other sites. Plus, for an additional charge each night (about $80) you can get a guaranteed Grand Canal view room.
