venice and florence in november

Jump to last reply

I just want to try and sum up what I've read regarding Venice and Florence in November.

1. The difference between Italy in June and November is that there is a much better chance of cooler and cloudier weather and more rain, but there may be times when it's rather pleasant.
2. The lack of crowds is a very good thing.
3. Grapes and olives are harvested.
4. More interesting pictures with the partly cloudy days and some rain.

Am I missing anything? And are any of these items big enough for us to pass up a chance to see Italy? The airfare for November may be too good for us to pass up.
