Does anyone have any experience with Vanatage Travel cruises in Europe? I can't seem to find any good rankings. I'm interested in traveling on Vantage through southern France. If you have any experience on Vantage vs. Viking or other European cruise lines, I would like to hear from you.

We have taken river cruises with Grand Circle, Vantage, Viking, and Uniworld. While Grand Circle is our favorite, Vantage is a close second. We find both of them much better than Viking and Uniworld, especially with the way they handled time off the ship. With Vantage, you are divided into four groups, and each group has a dedicated tour director who is with you for the entire trip and available to help you with your independent touring. They even give you money for lunch if your tour is not going to be back on the ship.
We found the food and the staff to be better on Vantage and Grand Circle.
I have traveled with Vantage to Norway cruise and to Vietnam and Cambodia on the Mekong River and both trips were excellent in my opinion. I have heard from other travelers that their experience on the Europe ships with Vantage is high quality, great inclusions and tours, and as the writer states above the tour director is always very good and helpful. I recommend vantage as a choice for any trip.
