Val D'aosta Italy

Jump to last reply

My husband and I, our daughter and her 13 and 15 yr. old daughters will be in Cogne for a week in June. We have plans to take the sky tram from Coeurmayeur to Chamonix, visit an adventure park near Aosta, and, naturally, walk on the mountain trails around Cogne. Are there other villages that we can visit in the area (not more than an hours drive), or vistas or walks not to miss? We also thought we might find horses to ride but I don't know for certain about that.
We will be visiting Torino on our way home so we won't go back there (we land in Torino) until we leave Cogne.
Any Parco Paradiso advice is welcomed. - or places outside Parco Paradiso that we might enjoy visiting - places in the town of Aosta?
Thanks,
Giannetta
