Use of stroller in Rome, Naples, Bari

Is it easy to use the stroller (i.e McClearn Quest or Inglesina Zippy) in cities like Rome, Naples, or Bari? Is there usually a place to store the stroller at the museum, or places like Colosseum, Pantheon, Vatican?
TIA

Hi
Welcome on Fodors.
Locals do have kids too ;-)
I visited Rome with a child in a wheelchair so definitely doable with a stroller.
I would put a lock on the stroller but I am paranoid.

You would be best to take a stroller that can be folded and carried for short distances, as you may very well come across places where you can't push the stroller.

There is no place to leave a stroller at the Colosseum. You can take it inside, but it wouldn't be very useful there, and might be an impediment. There is an elevator between the 1st and 2nd levels, but I wouldn't consider the tour that goes to the underground area and 3rd level.

St. Peter's Basilica (at the Vatican) doesn't allow strollers inside, but there is a place you can leave them. The Vatican Museums does allow strollers, but I wouldn't take a small child there, with or without a stroller. There are steps in the Museums, so if you go there, you should follow the modified route for people in wheelchairs. You can get information at the entrance. You can also leave the stroller at their baggage check facility, but it would be a very long way (and extremely crowded) to carry a child.

The Pantheon allows strollers, and has no place to leave them. It's a small space, and sometimes quite crowded.

Most museums have bag check facilities.

Easy to use a stroller in Naples. Just make sure it's lightweight so you can lift it up and down stairs if need be. There is an outdoor elevator that links Piazza Plebescito with Via Cristofer Colombo if you need to get from that area to the port without going the long way along the road.

We came back from our trip and want to confirmed that these 3 cities are pretty stroller friendly. Some streets are pretty "rocky", but it was a lot better than what i expected. I was glad that we bought our stroller with us.
