Urgent Spanish visa dilemma

Jump to last reply

Hi everyone, I'm currently a student in the UK I have been living since 2001 at the age of seven and I currently have a permanent residence visa in the UK but still hold a Jamaican passport. As a part of my course I have been given the opportunity to go abroad for 2 months to Spain on an internship. I applied for the visa with all requires documents for the internship, university etc. Today I went to collect the visa and they have only given me 7 days, from 10th May 2014 to 16th May 2014 while I applied for 10th May 2014 to 16th of July 2014. At first I thought it was a mistake but the person at the consulate in London seems to think it isn't.
Please could someone help me as I'm very unsure if what I'm suppose to do and my flight has already been booked

Thanks in advance
