Uniworld's Litvinov Just Got Internet on Board !!
We just got back from the June 22 Uniworld Petersburg-Moscow boat trip on the Litvinov, and, hey, the internet is now available on board !! $5/hr. My husband racked up 6 hrs. just following his silly sports teams. More later.

Pulkovo Airport, the main one in St Petersburg is LED, it has two terminals, Polkova-1 and Polkova-2, the domestic and international terminals.
Moscow has a number of airports the main ones being Sheremetevo (SVO), with terminals 1 and 2, terminal 2 is for international flights. Moscow also has Domodevovo (DMO), with British Air and Swiss Air international flights.
Other airports for mainly internal flights are Vnukovo and Bykovo Airports

Yes, we all know about the Orthodox Cruise Lines out of Rostov om Don from your other posts. Their personnel is top-notch. On our Litvinov sail all the gals were English teachers, and some of them spoke English a lot better than some of their American and Canadian passengers ! When I get a moment, I'm going to write a letter of commendation to Orthodox. The owner of that company is a former history teacher. I am an English teacher.

I did a couple of trips on the Litvinov a few years ago, from Rostov on Don to Moscow and from St Petersburg to Rostov on Don. I also found that the staff were exellent, many were teachers or work at universities.
I just completed another trip on the Orthodox ship Pirogov. It started at the Moscow North River Port and ended at the Moscow South River Port. It is a small ship and was able to travel on the Oka River with stops that are not made by the larger ships. The passengers were mainly German and Russian, but service in English was available for the for the few English speaking people that were on the ship. No internet on the Pirogov.
