UNICO COSTIERA bus tickets have increased in price

The price of the various UNICO COSTIERA tickets for travel along the Amalfi Coast on the SITA buses (between Sorrento and Salerno, including the Amalfi/Ravello run), has increased slightly, as is reported in the UNICO CAMPANIA website:

- 45 minutes € 2.50;

- 90 minutes € 3.80;

- 24 hours € 7.60;

- 3 days € 18.00.

(Only the 3-day ticket has not increased in price).

Notwithstanding the small price hike, the 24-hour ticket remains an excellent deal, particularly for those intending to travel between Sorrento and Amalfi as a daytrip. Even the 3-day ticket is a good deal for those using the buses each day.

The UNICO COSTIERA ticket must be time/date stamped on board the bus when FIRST utilized (which marks the beginning of the validity period). The 3-day ticket expires at 23:59 (Italy time) on the third day of usage (e.g. at 23:59 on Friday if first used on Wednesday). The 24-hour ticket is valid for 24 hours from the moment it is first stamped on board the first bus.

Travellers intending to travel beyond the Amalfi Coast area (e.g. to Pompeii, Naples, Caserta or Paestum) should instead consider purchasing the 3-day UNICO CAMPANIA ticket, which currently costs 20 Euros (but which may also experience a price increase in the near future). (This ticket is also valid for travel on the SITA buses along the Amalfi Coast).

Alternatively, the various CAMPANIA ARTECARDS (some of which also include local transportation) may be a better deal if travelling beyond the Amalfi Coast area and also visiting museums and/or archeological sites.
