Uffizi and Accademia Gallery Florence

Hello!

I will be in Florence next May and would like to go to the Uffizi Gallery and to the Accademia. I have read that there are long queues in both museums, so would like to reserve tickets online to avoid them.
But when I go to the internet I find the following alternatives:

1. https://webshop.b-ticket.com

Here the price is 17 eu (Uffizi) and 12 eu (Accademia) In that web page I can't find any indication as if I should pick the tickets at the Museum, or if after paying online I will be able to print them at home and go directly to the entrance.

2. http://www.uffizi.com/online-ticket-...zi-gallery.asp

Here the prices are much more expensive, but they say that I can print them at home and go directly to the entrance.

Does anybody know if I decide to buy them at the first and cheaper option, I will need to do queues to pick them up?

Tks!!

I recall you should book at the official website, you can print at home and make sure you get the timed entrance for both( otherwise you will have to wait in a big queue)
I booked both of mine this way ( I also booked for late afternoon as less busy but then I don't need hours and hours at these places....

B-ticket.com is the official ticket seller. Their information page says you have to pick the tickets up on site, but you shouldn't have to queue for that.

We used B-ticket, printed ticket vouchers before we left for our trip, and then picked up the actual tickets at the ticket office. There was a very short queue at both places, but we only had to wait for maybe five minutes to get the tickets and enter.

When I was there in 2009, upon the advice of the desk at our hotel, we just went to the Accademia at opening time one morning. There wasn't a line at all. We walked in, purchased our tickets there, and had the place almost completely to ourselves.
