Two weeks in Ireland

Jump to last reply

My husband and I will be in Ireland for two weeks in November 2013. We are landscape photographers. We are not shoppers. We want to spend out time seeing the beauty that is Ireland. I have most of the Island trip planned out but I am not sure where to spend two days.

3 days in Northern Ireland
Nov 7th, 2013 Tollymore Park lunch in pub Dark Hedges
Nov 8th, 2013 Dunluce Castle Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge
Nov 9th, 2013 Giants Causeway Torr Head Road

Head South
November 10th, 2013 Glendalough Rock of Cashel Staying in Cashel
November 11th, 2013 Klkenny Ring of Kerry Staying in Kenmare

Nov 12th, 2013 Dingle staying in Dingle for 3 days
Nov 13th, 2013 Dingle
Nov 14th, 2013 Dingle

Nov 15th, 2013 Quin Abbey, Cliffs of Moher,
Nov 16th, 2013
Nov 17th, 2013

staying in Dublin 3 days
Nov 18th 2013 Dublin
Nov 19, 2013 Dublin
Nov 20th, 2013 Dublin fly out

My question is "Is it worth driving up North of Dingle in November to see the Cliffs of Moher?
I would like to see Quin Abbey in the County of Claire but is it even open in November?
As we are not interested in shopping and being in a city is there any reason to go to Galway?

Keeping in mind that we want to photograph castles, churches, landscapes where would you suggest we spend our two open days?
