Two week itinerary in France
I am planning to visit France for two weeks with my two teenagers and I'm having trouble deciding where to go. Would it be too rushed if we were to do four days in Paris, Normandy for three days, the Loire Valley for two days, Nice for three days and then back from Nice to an airport hotel the day before we're due to fly home? If I have to cut something out, which section do you think would be best?

I'd include Normandy - show your teenagers locations and cemeteries connected to D-Day - it would be a good history lesson - it's sobering to wander among the graves and see the ages of those interred there.

Hi K,
I would add 2 days to Paris (I can't conceive of anyone, even teenagers being bored in Paris) keep 3 days in Normandy (in addition to the sightseeing, the D-Day beaches will be good for them), and 3 days in the Loire before returning to Paris for the flight home.

I think the car/train combination is a good plan. Nice is wonderful because, once there, there is great bus and train service to all kinds of places (St. Paul de Vence, Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, Antibes, and others). I have to disagree with Ira. I think after four days in a big city, you'll be ready to go exploring other less urban parts of the country.

No; roads are generally good and three days is a reasonable amount of time.
If you have to cut something out, my choice would be the Loire valley. Nice and Paris provide a wide variety of things to do, while în the Loire there's not much to do but drive from one châteaux to the next. If you stick with Paris and Normandy you can then fly to Nice rather than spending the time on the road (about 10 hours) or on the train (about 6-1/2 hours).
